Eagles hold off Red Devils

Malden escapes Hayti

Charleston will host their Homecoming this afternoon against SEMO East Conference rival Kelly at 3 pm at John Harris Marshall Athletic Complex. The dedication of the new scoreboard and memorial garden will take place today as well with friends and family of the Marshall’s expected in attendance.

Ep took a commanding lead at Chaffee but the Red Devil under Charlie Vickery never give up and fans were treated to 96 points on the scoreboard with Ep topping Chaffee 56-42 to improve to 3-3 with a tough Homecoming challenge on tap this coming week with Portageville coming to the Eagles Nest. The Bulldogs hammered previously unbeaten Scott City 49-7.

Sikeston took it on the chin from a tough Farmington squad last night as well. Malden escaped Hayti and Caruthersville triumphed.
