So, rather than watching the Madness displayed on our TV sets; or, risking not finding your wanted Pokemon…

Tourney action began Tuesday in the Senior Babe Ruth event as the 7-time defending Missouri State champion Fighting Squirrels look to make it #8 this year.
In Ep, the 2016 13-year old State Tournament began with the host team ~ SemoSouth ~ notching a W over Cape Girardeau 10-5 in the nightcap.
Today, bracket action begins in the Senior Babe tourney with the Squirrel’s putting it all on the line in the 1:30 game. Games begin at 10:30 today (Friday, July 15) and are set for 4:30 and 7:30. The tournament will conclude Saturday with elimination games at 10:30 and 1:30. The Championship contest is set for 7:30.
At Simpkins Park today (July 15), games begin at 4 pm with SEBA facing Boonville; at 6 Sikeston faces MEBA and the nightcap at 8 features Boonville vs Semo South Ep.
The 13-year old tourney will run through Sunday in East Prairie with the title game set for 4 pm.
So, while the World seemingly falls apart in front of our TV; Tablets and iPhone screens, it’s heartwarming to know that folks in small town #Merica are doing all they can to avoid the Madness.
Baseball is America.
